Where do I find my Coachmen VIN number?
Every Coachmen RV has a dedicated 17 digit VIN number that corresponds to your particular model. There are multiple places to find this serial number, either in the insurance policy, title, or bill of sale. The number can also be found stamped on a tag located under the hood, in the driver seat cockpit area, or on a sticker located in the driver's door jam. Though depending on the model, the location of the VIN number may vary.
How do you winterize a Coachmen RV?
When the winter weather comes, Coachmen makes it easy to prep your motor home for the cold. First, you should park your RV on a flat level surface and inflate the tires while lowering the stabilizers. Second, drain all of the water tanks and then clean them with a bleach and water solution. Third, add drinkable antifreeze to the Coachmen’s freshwater tank, allowing it to drip from the faucets. Finally, after unplugging all appliances, double-checking to make sure all heaters and lights are turned off, you can then fill up the water reservoirs for the battery and attach the battery charger to a power source.
